I am trying to save this old 1940 ex-Royal Navy Harbour launch.
I have managed to just about avoid bankruptcy buying the vessel and beginning the huge task of trying to stop her getting any worse while I repair the main systems to try and get her back from Brixham to Southampton. I have managed to get the two lovely Gardner engines running, but she has been neglected for so many years that I have exhausted my funds trying desperately to save this lovely piece of maritime history. My aim is to put her back to her Royal Navy appearance, this will need major works on hull timbers, and a new correct wheel house will need to be made. There is endless amounts of sanding and painting constantly needing doing, and I have areas of steel superstructure to repair, all of which I have been funding and carrying out myself. However I have reached the point where I have to either give up, or ask for help. so this is my request. Please help me to save this vessel.
