Weʼre raising £5,000 to remember, Adam who Loved Sport and Children. We would like to promote Mental Health within children through the community of sport.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Adam James Payne was aggressive on the Rugby pitch, insync in a rowing boat, powerful on the tennis court and driven on the golf course. He loved team sports as well as running solo, he believed that sport activated a positive mental attitude.

Adam also loved Children, his Arabella and Charile as well as others Max, Ellie, Thomas, Oliver, Eduardo, Laura, Lilly, Otis, Keegan, Athena, Malika, Annabelle, Gabriela, Samuel, Hugo, George, Harry, Artie and Imogen.

We would like to support all these causes close to Adam, Children, Sport and Mental Health. We have not yet found the perfect charity and believe that after the 1/2 marathon we will give your generous donations to a couple of charities.

We also want to speak openly about suicide and hope that you speak to your loved ones when your weights get too heavy for your shoulders alone. We are here for anyone that ever needs to talk.

Saturday 9th was a huge success, reaching our fundraising target before the race started. Adrenalin was high throughout the day. Thank you to everyone that ran, supported, donated & sent love. Adam would have loved the whole day, with all our favourite people. He would have smashed the run smacking Matt & Me as he lapped us. We raised a samba shot & sung him Happy Birthday! It was so lovely for myself & my family to feel supported on the day - rather then noticing Adam wasn't with us we were aware of how loved he was & still is. Thank you all.

Dear All, Thank you all for your support over the past months! 9th March is soon approaching. We will be in Victoria Park London running and Cheering. Please all come and join. We will also be having a pub lunch afterwards, please get in contact if you would like to be booked in for another celebration of Adam's life over a roast and a pint. Your Donations and generosity have been touching. I would also encourage us to spread our story, perhaps it will make one person talk and open up. Love to you all

I read the article and as sad as it was to bring back the great memories I have of Ad, it highlighted some really fantastic points about mental illness. Thank you.
