Weʼve raised £410 to help fund a new scout hall for the local Sea Scouts

Funded on Monday, 1st April 2019

Don't have time to donate right now?

Our local Sea Scouts are trying to purchase the Ice House in Ramsgate Harbour to create a new meeting hall and water school. They need £5000 to complete the purchase.

Look at their website to see the amazing opportunities this group offers it's young people:

Vision is exemplified in the Ice House Project, which in one overarching plan, not only aims to deal with a number of long standing difficulties the Group has with its current accommodation, but also aims to provide a much needed resource for a number of organizations and individuals outside their own membership. For me, this is a magnificent example of the value the voluntary sector can add to the wider community - Bert Furze MBE

Great cause and keep up the great work. I recommend also getting in touch with Waitrose and Tesco in Ramsgate to see if you could be included as one of the three great causes to share £1k one month.

I work with young people with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour, it is amazing to see how they have flourished within the scout group.
