I've raised £2000 to send Adam Malcolm, Castle Douglas Scouts to Kenya in October 2018 where he will help with much needed projects in their local community.

I am Adam, aged 11. I have the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Kenya in October 2018 with Castle Douglas Scouts, where we will be helping the local communities with much needed projects to help enhance their lives. 2 years ago the same scout group went to Kenya and built toilets and also built water wells, which allowed the local children to have clean water and a more sanitary way of toileting.
I am a hardworking, strong boy and I would love to go and help our Scouts make small but positive change to the lives of the boys and girls in Kenya. We will be doing lots of fundraising over the next few months to fund the projects in Kenya and will also need to raise funds for travel and accommodation for the Scouts.
We will be building a boat after Christmas and plan to paddle 66 miles of the Caledonian Canal in 3 days! We will all take turns paddling and we will be using leg power to propell the boat!
As well as the group fundraising I will be doing different sponsored events to help raise money
I hope you can help me raise enough money to go with the other Scouts to Kenya, thank you for reading my story and I will be updating this page with photos as we go.
If you can donate even a tiny amount...it all adds up. Please also share my page. Thanks Adam
