Ruben and Lockie arrived early, Kim went into labour at 32 weeks at her baby shower.

From arriving at the hospital until the day we left the staff offered amazing medical treatment, support and friendship.

After a difficult birth with a room full of doctors , midwives and specialists Ruben arrived weighing 3lb 13oz and Lockie 4lb 10oz. They received CPR to save their lives (those seconds waiting for a cry were heart breaking) Both babies were rushed of to incubators, breathing machines, fed on tubes and cared for by the staff on the intensive care ward in Neo Natal section of Burton hospital.

I would like to raise as much money as possible for this amazing ward and to make sure the help is there for other families with premature babies. You don't realise how hard it is until you go through it. Leaving your babies in the caring hands of nurses over night and praying for the day you can bring them home.

We would like to thank them with our whole hearts.

There will be a fundraising day on the 18th May at Motivate Studio Ashby De La Zouch where I will be doing 100 rounds of boxing, there will be food, sports memorabilia stalls, auctions etc If your in the area please come along.
