Story
Freddie has recently been diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumour. His family and friends did an amazing job of quickly raising enough money for Freddie to be cared for by specialists in the US, only to then find out the tumour was more aggressive than doctors had initially expected, and that the cost of his treatment had doubled. The total cost of Freddie's treatment and ongoing care, as well as living expenses whilst in the US is now likely to be in excess of £500,000. As parents, we cannot even begin to imagine what Freddie's parents, family and close friends must be going through and what a hammer blow this recent news must have been. We would like to help, in some small way, to raise the funds that will ultimately give Freddie and his family the peace and financial security that will allow them to focus on the only thing that really matters, Freddie's full and swift recovery.

Stuart Calder and I are aiming to raise £2000 towards Freddie's care. In return for your support, we will be running the Wimbledon Common Half Marathon on April 2nd 2017 whilst wearing the football kits of the rival teams we support. So Stuart as a life long Arsenal fan will be wearing a full Tottenham kit, and I, a staunch Spurs supporter, will running in full Arsenal kit. I know the £2000 we are looking to raise may sound like a lot, but to put this into perspective, this is equivalent to just 0.4% of the total that is needed to help Freddie get better.
Thank you for your support !
