Whilst we both run regularly, neither of us have been doing any significant distance of late due to life and Adam aka sick note struggling with various injuries.

Whilst sat on the sofa last night reflecting we thought we need to do something and ideally raise some money for a good cause if we can.

So, we decided to enter the Vale of York Half Marathon and try and raise some money to support a Yorkshire based group called K9-SAR which is a team dedicated to bringing lost pets home across Yorkshire.

We recently assisted them with searching for a dog lost in our area and were super impressed with their dedication to the cause. Everyone is a volunteer and they use high tech equipment such as cameras, drones, thermal imaging equipment as well as using humane traps and the bait for those traps.

All of this comes at a cost and they rely solely on donations and funding things out of their own pockets.

we thought it would be nice if we could raise a few quid to help them carry on the great work they do.
