Story

I will be riding the distance between our Ultimate Performance Cheshire Gym and our Amsterdam Gym which is 650km (404 miles) in 1 session on a wattbike. I am aiming to complete this ride in anywhere between 24 - 28 hours.

I was lucky enough to spend time in the Rydal Boxing Gym earlier this year meeting the coaches and kids who train their. What they do is so important in helping and shaping the lives of the kids around the area, giving them a place to go day in day out that has a unique family feel to it.

For me it is so important for kids to have a place to go where they can have a goal, have some focus and learn skills that can either help them immediately or in later life. Rydal's is a place were kids can go to express themselves where the coaches truly care about helping and developing lives both inside the gym and out.

Robbie and the team of coaches do an amazing job at making each kid who goes there feel welcome. The effort that they put into each kid is making a huge difference to their lives, teaching them respect, team work, helping with general health and fitness and giving them goals and motivations to stay on the right path.

I am completing this ride to raise some funds to go towards this local business.

Any funds will help with equipment that will develop the gym and allow more kids the chance to train there and become part of the Rydals Family.

Thanks for reading and if you would like to follow any of my training or the ride then I will post updates on my istagram @adamnewton_uptrainer.
