Story

Adam's Annual Challenge

Adam wants to give something back as a thank you for all the help that he has received so far on his road to recovery. He wants to set himself an annual challenge and has decided to start with a walk up Pen-y-fan on May 1st to raise money for three charities that are close to his heart...

1, Traumatic Brain Injury Service ABMU (helps adults who have suffered moderate to severe brain injury).

2, Neurolological Rehabilitation Wales (works with people who have had a Stroke or Neurological brain injury) .

3, The South Wales Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre (helps people with a wide range of conditions through their Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber, physiotherapy, etc). .

As most of our friends and family already know, Adam suffered a Severe Brain Injury three and a half years ago due to a horrific car crash which left him fighting for his life. Since then he has been so positive in his drive to achieve his main goal, to be like he was before the accident.

Adam has come from this...

to this...

in those three and a half years.

He attends a range of therapies on a daily basis and has an amazing group of professionals behind him.

Each of these teams believe in his potential and work him so hard every day in order to help him achieve his goal. He has been working on spatial awareness, balance and coordination, things we all just take for granted. His balance is improving all the time although he still has a long way to go.

With his Pen-y-fan challenge getting ever closer he has also been improving his physical fitness and stamina, as this will be by far the most difficult thing Adam has done to date.

Every penny will help these charities so much so please can you give, even if it's just a little.

Thank you so much from Adam and his family.
