Story

My brother-in-law Rob Wilding and I will be running the Manchester marathon in April and the Plymouth half marathon in May, in support of local Plymouth charity 'Give a Child a Chance'.

The charity has helped support my niece who is autistic and suffers with severe anxiety issues. She struggles to leave the house to the extent that she no longer feels able to attend school. The charity, 'Give a Child a Chance' helps children like my niece overcome their challenges to lead a more fulfilling life. It's a small Plymouth charity that is making a big difference to the lives of local children and their families.

In preparation for these events we have been busy training over the winter in all weathers so we can hit our goal times. My target time for the marathon is 3 hours 30 mins but for every minute under 4 hours I will personally donate £10. Rob's target for the marathon is 4 hours 30 mins and for every minute under 5 hours he will donate £10.

Any donations, big or small are greatly received and will make a difference to Plymouth children with mental health challenges. Thanks for the support.
