In August this year (Date TBC) I will be spending 24 hours alongside the homeless people in Cambridge. I want to spend my time getting to know them, hearing their stories and live in the conditions they do. The reason for choosing August is that I want to raise the money and awareness, so I can return to Cambridge in the darker nights to provide them with the much needed essentials they deserve.

I have personally spent time with no home, and fortunately had people around me to support me and allow me to 'sofa surf'. I found this very hard, and cannot even begin to imagine how people can manage living on the streets. I find it hard to believe that in the 5th richest country in the world, that there are people still living on the streets.

I am looking for donations so I can purchase basic essentials to distribute to people that are living on the streets, so they can be prepared for the cold winter months up ahead. IE tooth brushes, tooth paste, blankets, sanitizer, basic first aid kits, toiletries, bottles of water, hats, gloves, socks, food, etc.

And of course not forgetting their companions, many people living on the streets find their comfort and friendship with their dogs, so I will also be purchasing dog food, water bowls, flea collars, etc.
