Hello some of you will remember I travelled to Sri Lanka at xmas, working in an orphanage. It was an inspiring if not heart wrenching experience. The children were lively and interactive, wanting lots of attention. The staff were caring and offered as much as thy could in these difficult working conditions. Fundamentally though if you have so many children with no parents there is always going to be a level of chaos and sense of lack.

Many of you donated money and it was very well used, here is an email I received describing where some of the money went.

"Dear Adela, Mum...hope you are doing well and keeping well with all the blessings of GOD...and here again I thought to write to you with some work we did with your valuable donation, and I could send some photos..too.
Orphanage gave their many...many tahnks for you and thats what they request at me to give you .
1.We cleaned the well, which the whole orphange using for drinking,Washing,bathing Etc,....
2.We cleaned and cleared about 10 toilets which were blocked for many weeks and those toilets were not in use..But now in use...
3.Brought some tables & chairs & goods for the orphanage
