Unfortunately a good friend of ours Darren Connellan was diagnosed with cancer in March this year. He had an operation to remove the tumour and will possibly need chemo or radiotherapy. Darren is self employed and his recovery from the operation is 6-8 weeks alone.

We have decided we would like to ease some of the financial burden to him and his family by raising funds to help.

As always we are up for a challenge and there is a group of us that are going to be taking on a 54 mile bike ride from Blackpool back to The Greengate.
This will be taking place on Saturday 28th May.
Anyone is welcome to join in if you so wish but you would need to make your own transport arrangements to the starting point in Blackpool. (We have space for bikes in the van, but no spare seats in the cars)

We would really appreciate any generous donations from you kind folk and it would mean the world to Darren and his family.
