Early hours Tuesday morning my cousin Aimee sadly passed away in a tent on the streets of Liverpool.Despite numerous attempts by family and friends to help her she kept returning to the streets and heartbreakingly was eventually taken like so many others. I’m reaching out to the people of Liverpool and beyond to ask everyone to stand together in support of The Paper Cup Project who provide food, clothing and support to the homeless of our city. This should not be happening full stop, almost every doorway in the city centre is occupied with someone sleeping rough, something needs to be done to help these people! Yes maybe some have drug or alcohol addictions but noone knows why and how they have been affected over the years or ended up on the streets. Even if you can only spare a pound every single penny helps. By donating to this charity your not funding an addiction like you could be by handing people on the streets money directly but helping The Paper Cup Project to provide much needed support.
