Every 20 minutes a child or young person is taken into care by the Local Authority, resulting in them needing a foster placement. At any one time there are roughly 64,000 children living with foster families/childrens homes in the UK. These children have often experienced neglect or abuse and need love, support and stability. Health provide these children and young people with a great deal of the support and encouragement they need by offering intervention and engaging .......

Our dedicated Children in Care Team in Wigan are coming together (away from the office) on Friday 13th October 2017, where we have decided to take on the biggest team challenge of our lives and climb up Mount Snowdon.

We hope that with the funds we raise in completing this challenge, we are able too....
