Everyone that knows me knows I fought Breast Cancer and won at the age of 22... I met a few other younger ladies that went through the same and me and 2 others have set up a fundraising group to try and bring more awareness to the fact that us younger ladies can get the disease too and so to make all of you no matter what age more breast aware

So on September 2nd (only 3 months away) I will be taking part in the Bedford Half Marathon... and raising money for this charity and for the Kettering Breast Unit (funds will be split evenly) where myself and my lovely friend Tasha were treated for our initial diagnosis and her recent recurrence

Tasha's recurrence is what encouraged me to sign up for this, because knowing what she has had to go through for a second time, I wanted to go through it with her so this is my way of putting my body through something tough too whilst hopefully raising some money for a cause very close to my heart

All the staff at the Kettering Breast Unit are amazing I don't know what i'd of done without my consultant Mr Musa and all of the Nurses there, they just make you feel so at ease and reassured at such a scary time

So now it is my chance to give back to them and hopefully continue to raise awareness for this horrible disease so if you can please donate anything no matter how small and help me achieve my goal to give back

You're also welcome to attend the half marathon and cheer me on it's on Saturday 2nd September at 9am and if you see me running the streets of the boro getting ready keep encouraging me as you may think 'it's only a half marathon' but it's actually 13.1 miles of pushing yourself and your limits both physically and mentally
