Hi, my name is Adelle, this June-July I will be heading to Kenya, Nakuru, with a group of people from my college Brock, we are going to work on two different missions: Melon Mission and The Little Kings.

We'll be helping them build, expand, decorate their school and classrooms, we will also help with; the daily cooking, and feed the children their meals, teaching them classes, games and supplying them with clothes and donations that we would have brought for England.

The main project that we are focusing on is Melon Mission, they rely solely on the support and generosity of volunteers, due to the increasing number of children that are coming to the school there is a greater need for volunteers.

Melon Mission is a project that serves children in the nearby slum area and provides food, education, and clothing for the children, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, religion or race.

Their current situation consists of basic education, feeding program, rudimentary health and welfare support, inadequate provisions of buildings and infastructure; cow sheds used for classrooms, no sanitation, no electricity, simple kitchen...
