The African ancestors who were carried away for slavery to the Americas were snatched away from their mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters, wives,husbands, and from their children. They were tied up and trafficked across the Atlantic Ocean by ship stacked in a fork and spoon fashion in a squalid condition of their menstrual flow, vomit and faeces. During the journey countless captives got very sick as a result of the inhumane conditions they were held in. When they got ill they were simply thrown into the ocean! No medical help, no burial, no ceremony!
