I've raised £700 to Children with cancer in Romania

On Saturday 14th July I will be walking my second marathon in support of children with cancer in Romania.
Together with a group of friends I am raising money for a paediatric oncology clinic, where children with cancer can be treated. Romania has faced huge political issues for some time now and healthcare is at the back of the agenda. This would be the first hospital of its kind, entirely funded and built by non-governmental donors.
Why this cause? Last year we had the biggest scare of our lives when Jacob was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of cancer. Fortunately this was a misdiagnosis, he still however has a very rare cancer-like condition and requires regular check-ups. He is doing very well but having the support and access to amazing medical staff and hospitals is something we will forever be grateful for. For this reason, I wanted to do something memorable to celebrate how fortunate we have been.
Sadly these children are spending months in tiny hospital rooms and often shared beds whilst in treatment, with no playing facilities or access to decent care. So this Saturday a group of friends and I will be lacing up our trainers ready to walk the streets of London from The Cutty Sark to Richmond for about 10 hours.
Please support me in this huge challenge and help me raise money for children and families who have their world turned upside down by cancer. Every penny counts, so however small your donation I am incredibly grateful.
Huge thanks in advance!
