It feels as if the wars in our beloved region are never ending. So we decided to take our llittle Paddington bear Ali on a cycling trip to France to raise funds for urgent humanitarian assistance for children in war torn countries including the children of Mosul, Gaza and unaccompanied orphaned refugee children in Greece.

Your contributions will provide urgent medical care and humanitarian assistance to children most affected by the conflict, including children in IDP camps in Mosul and surrounding areas, children in Gaza, and unaccompanied refugee orphaned children stranded in detention centres and prisons in Greece.

I know how politicised international aid can be, and how doubtful we all can be of those big organisations working in war zones.
