Story
Adlingfleet Church at Christmas

Christmas has always been a very special time for Adlingfleet Church and although we have missed out on many of the church's normal celebrations this year, we feel that it would be appropriate to mark the festive season in some way.
We rely on the collections from our Carol Singing and Christmas Eve Service to provide a large part of the annual income needed to maintain the church. Sadly we will not be able to hold either of these this year, and so instead we are setting up a JustGiving page in the hope that those people who are normally so generous in their support will consider a donation. Any donation, however small will be gratefully received as we are having to spend ever-increasing amounts to keep the building viable.
We also feel that we want to use this as an opportunity to support others in our local communities at this difficult time, and so we will be donating half of all monies raised to the Mission Trinity food bank in Goole.
Thank you in advance for your generosity - we wish you and your families a happy, safe and peaceful Christmas.
Since December 2010 Mission Trinity have been providing food help and more to the people of Goole and surrounding areas, from providing meals to the homeless to providing food bank services to those in need. We have seen an extraordinary rise in demand during this most unusual year. We have always depended on the generosity of people and businesses in this area and have always been amazed at the willingness everyone has to help.
