Story

Why trees?

Trees have long reaching benefits for everyone and the environment. At their best trees boast such incredible beauty, poise and strength. At their worst they represent life, survival and a fighting spirit.

With roots, some shallow and some so deep that they cannot be unearthed, trees represent connection, identity, fragility, inner strength and protection.

Trees whisper and talk. They remind us of seasons and climate. They are our shelter, our stories, our symbols of strength.

Together let's adopt a tree or two! Consider it a friendship tree, a community tree; somewhere to meet for a picnic, somewhere to read or paint or find solace.

We will be adopting a tree (or two) through the Tree Guardian program at Lowther Gardens. www.treeguardians.co.uk

Trees represent such joy, beauty and productivity.

Love a tree with us this holiday season!
