Originally my plan this year was to raise funds to sponsor an orphan, but when I came across "Adopt a gran". My mind and heart changed instantly. It is a norm to always think about the next generation; the children, but in doing so we often forget about the elderly who require the same support whilst going through old age. By being inspired by a lot of people around myself. I finally got the motivation to set up a page, and start my journey to help someone in need.

The elderly have always inspired me with all their hard work, and how much they give back to people. Personally elderly people are always inspirational to me, and I know these people in need mean a lot to someone as well. By donating we will ensure they stay safe and have all the support they need. Elderly people in developing countries are particularly at risk of contacting the coronavirus. Just as we protect our elders in the UK by staying home and supporting the NHS, we need to extend the same care and protection to disadvantage older people across the world. When we "adopt a gran" with your support we will be making sure that vulnerable elderly people have safe access to a proper home, proper healthcare, nutritious food, and continuous support. Any donation will mean that an older person in Asia or Africa can enjoy quality care, just like our own loved parents and grandparents.

My goal is to reach £240 which will sponsor two amazing souls to ensure they have the right care they need for a whole year. I will be forever grateful if you could share this page to raise awareness.
