I am participating in a new virtual challenge. Running from lands end to John o groats within 12mths. A staggering distance 874 miles. I'm doing it for the below charity Mark Lowe. He was a very good friend at work who was taken too early in his life by cancer.

As some of you may know I have my own health issues which thankfully a lot of you don't see the worse of it, even though some of you have visited me in hospital many times.

I feel this will be a tough challenge, but that's the point for such a good cause, as unfortunately we've all been affected by cancer in some way.
