The WIDE Children's Home in Tiruvannamalai (https://widechildrenshome.com/) is an incredible organization that has provided a loving home and a fresh start to some of the most vulnerable children in India. Since its foundation 15 years ago, over 375 children have been supported, with nearly 300 going on to attend university. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication and compassion of one woman, Kumari Xavier.

As the Home prepares to move to a new, purpose-built facility, we have an opportunity to transform the lives of even more boys and girls. However, this transition requires support. We are raising funds for solar panels and a battery system that will enable the Home to be self-sufficient in its energy needs. This sustainable solution will ensure that the children can study and play without interruption.
