Story
Say 'hi' to the Kovalchuk family. They were forced to flee Ukraine earlier this year where they spent 50 days under fire in Kiev, and a further 50 days in a Polish refugee camp, near Warsaw. Truly desperate times. They recently received UK settlement visas and arrived in the UK a few days ago.
A school friend (Frank O'Friel), his family & friends have covered their living cost on the long, difficult journey from Poland to the North of England. They will be living in the the O'Friels apartment on the beautiful Isle of Man. They have received gifts, clothes, vouchers and love from all corners of the globe.
Lyudmila and Andrei are both teachers and all the children are of school age. They are relieved and excited about this new chapter
I was wondering whether you would be interested in helping fund some English Lessons and the repair of their aging car, which carried them from Poland to the IoM. If they are able to improve their English skills, we are confident that both parents will be able to find work, and the kids will (more easily) settle in at their new school. This will help the whole family become independent and enjoy their new life in the UK.
