Story

10 year old Emma suffers from a hereditary condition known as Von Hippel-Lindau syndrome (VHL). VHL is associated with tumors arising in multiple organs including hemangioblastomas, which are blood vessel tumors of the brain, spinal cord, and eye. She was first diagnosed with a brain tumor 2 years ago but since then other problems have developed resulting in her needing 24 hour waking care. To make this possible a total of £30,000 is desperately needed to fund a disabled access bedroom & bathroom extension at her family home in Maltby, Rotherham.

As part of the fund raising efforts I intend to

1. Participate in a charity cycle ride to Scarborough & back with other members of Tickhill Velo Club (TVC) on the weekend of 8th June 2019. 206 miles
