Children and young people rarely get the opportunity to stay away from home outside the family environment. To experience outdoor activities with their friends in a safe organised setting builds confidence and independence. An adventure weekend at Scouts Adventure Centre, Lochgoilhead for the whole Scout Group (Scouts, Cubs and Beavers) will help the children to build skills and develop self-assurance, which will support them for the rest of their lives.

We had a wonderful time in April 23, and want to arrange another "Adventure" next April.

The money raised will fund a contribution from the Scout Group to aid parents with the cost of the stay away.
