Story
As many of you will know on the 5th April 2025 the world became a much darker place. Arabella Louise Kelly, the funniest, most caring, beautiful soul made her journey to heaven from her Mammy and Daddy's loving arms.
Arabella was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the tender age of 2. She defied the odds time after time, beating her life expectancy again and again. I have no doubt that this was a result of her ultra positive attitude, she simply exuded sunshine whenever she entered the room.
Her beloved Beckstone Primary School, which she was basically the Queen of (although she always told me off when I called her that) are raising funds to build an adventure playground in her name where she can be remembered by all.
On 30th August, which would have been Arabella's 10th Birthday I plan to cycle from The RVI hospital in Newcastle to Beckstone (around 108 miles) to help raise funds towards the adventure playground. I am by no means a cyclist and this will be a big challenge for me but I know she'll be up there shouting "Come on Bwain".
This challenge will be painful and likely very slow, however it will be absolutely nothing in comparison to the pain Jess and Dean have been and are going through along with all Arabella's other family members and friends.
Any donation, big or small would be hugely appreciated. Thank you all x
I'm raising Β£1,000 for a community project
