What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

2016 seen the Lochaber Ladies 1st team become Scottish Champions for the first time. Also that year our Lochaber Ladies 2nd won the Development League and are now competing competitively in the North Division 2. With added funding we would be able to encourage more ladies to play for us and provide them with the necessary safety equipment. The money raised would go towards travelling to further competitions, first aid equipment, sending ladies to shinty camp, coaching and winter training, therefore enabling us to improve ourselves for future seasons and more league and competition cups.

Hi all. Many thanks to everyone who has sponsored me so far. You may notice that the total is at £0. Total raised so far is actually £330. Unbeknown to me a crowdfunding page only lasts 30 days and you need to extend it when the page is active. A lesson for anyone else that is planning crowdfunding. So I've had to create another page until the run is complete. This is the last week before the run and hopefully I'll reach the target soon. Thanks again
