As many of you probably already know (mainly because we are never free to meet up after school) our girls (Khaya, Sukki and Starr) are members of the Aerobic Squad at Basingstoke Gymnastics Club. They train hard and dedicate so much of their time to the sport in the hopes of progressing as they grow. Many of the older girls in the squad (including Starr) already compete internationally and are a great inspiration to the younger team members. However, as with many sports there are costs - costs for training equipment, cost to send young, ambitious, highly talented athletes overseas to compete for their country. We will be running the Hook Fun Run (2.5 miles) on May 20th to try and raise some money so we can help fund some of these requirements.

(NB. We will be running this with the girls and it will obviously be harder for us than them, so if you're thinking - "Pah that will be easy those girls train for hours every week - sponsor us! I (Katy) haven't run since school and between you and me that was a very long time ago!)
