Aeronwy Craig will run the Stockport Hatters Half Marathon on 4 September as a `Danny Hero` raising funds for the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal.

With your support the Reddish resident and former Alexandra Park Primary School pupil is aiming to raise £500 for the appeal.

As you might expect she is an avid County supporter- sitting in UT3 of the Cheadle End with dad Pete Towey the Chair of the Supporters Cooperative, along with son Joshua Craig.

Aeronwy is a keen runner a member of Bramhall Runners and a veteran of over 500 Park Runs, training on her own 4 or 5 times a week, competing at distances from 5k to full marathon ( PB 3.42). She knows the hill at Vernon Park in the Woodbank Park Run every bit as well as the hill towards the end of the Hatters Half which she has run several times clocking 1.40 for the Stockport course.
