I've raised £4000 to Ward D33 Children's Ward Queens Medical Centre Nottingham (Nottingham Hospitals Charity).

AF4CF back for with a fresh new look and challenge for 2018. Alfie Fisher 4 Cystic Fibrosis is a funfilled physically challenging event aiming to raise monies and awareness on behalf of Alfie who is living with Cystic Fibrosis. For 2018 Alfie and his family have chosen to donate any monies raised to Ward D33 Childrens Ward at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham. Living with Cystic Fibrosis means Alfie spends a lot of time in hospital, often weeks at a time recieving treatment and physio. This is obviously very demanding on Alfie, his family and others in similar circumstances. Monies raised for the ward can be used for a variety of options and is bidded for families and staff alike. Examples are, welfare materials for children and families such as new , books, TV's and tablets etc. On the ward in the shape of Gym Equipment for Physiotherapy and much needed Nebulisers and lastly for research. Doctors from Ward D33 embark on their own research to hopefully one day find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
The Challenge:
For 2018 AF4CF is taking on the National 3 Peak Challenge . . . . In a budget car. Teams will be departing from Lincoln on Friday 6th July 2018 in their budget motor costing no more than £300. From Lincoln teams will travel North where they will conquer Ben Nevis, before heading south to Scafell Pike and then onwards to finish at Mount Snowdon. The aim is to complete the National 3 peak challenge in 24 hours.
Any support to this event will help those at the front line of Cystic Fibrosis.
Thank You.
