Aylesbury FC are a community club. My Dad, the late Danny Martone, strived for many many years to build a club that the town could be proud off. Most laughed in his face yet he continued to push on and today Aylesbury FC are a semi-professional club, home to a Nursery, and working in partnership with many local businesses, and clubs.
However, as with any self-funded club, we need support.
I came up with the idea of Kids in the Community as a parent myself, thinking how great it would be to provide children in our area with a safe place to go, to have fun, to build confidence, to be able to come to our events without the financial burden that some families face. We would like to be able to put on an event at least quarterly throughout 2018, whether it be an Easter Egg Hunt, a Halloween Party, or an arts and crafts morning. But to do this and be able to keep it free, we need support and funding. Whether it be 20p or £20.
