I've raised £200 to Help the vulnerable that Covid-19 has made even more vulnerable. I’m raising money for a Food Bank Donation in Preston.

My name is Afeefa and I work in financial services.
I’ve recently had to start working from home, which is allowing me more time in the local community to help the most vulnerable (Don’t worry, all masked and gloved up!).
I grew up in Preston, not too far from one of the poorest estates in the city, where many of the children only have 1 meal a day, which is provided by the schools they go to. With the recent pandemic, schools are closed, and these children have no safe space where they are fed and looked after. For this reason, I’m working with a local charity (Masjid-E-Aqsa, Preston, Charity number 1004358) to create and distribute food parcels to those most in need. This can be those not able to leave the house, those who are not recieving their benefits as they are not able to leave their homes, or even the Children who are carers for their parents.
Many of you, my friends, are based nowhere near my home city, and so I ask where possible for you to donate the cost of your morning coffee to us.
Some pictures below of the work we’ve done so far.
