I've raised £15000 to help us reach our goal for Coles Diner and for our Africa Appeal 2019.

We are a youth club called Coles Diner based at Mary Hare School for deaf children in the UK. Every year we have an appeal this year it is the Africa Appeal - We are wanting to reach out across to our deaf friends in Africa to help a school in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. The school in Africa is very different to ours and we want to help them.
We have set ourselves challenges...
We will get to Africa and help providing activities and helping in lessons. We are also hoping to raise enough money to support one child's entire education to give them a start in life that in the UK we take for granted. We will also be paying for the whole school breakfast while we are there too, this helps start their day off with a meal inside their tummy's ready to start their chores before they start the school day. It costs just £20 to feed the whole school of over 200 children!
This trip is important not only by giving something back to a small school in Africa but by also giving key life skills and experiences to the 4 teenagers going from the Mary Hare School for the deaf in the UK.
We are also going to set up a wellbeing trail at the school here in the UK - many young teenagers suffer with their wellbeing and to help improve this as well as address this issue - we will build a wellbeing trail around the school to help improve fitness as well as the wellbeing our children that attend Mary Hare.
This is an experience that will help in so many ways - please help us reach our target! Thank you KiriLynn Gardner and Coles Diner Youth Club at the Mary Hare School for the deaf.
