I've raised £5000 to help fund a water well

After a very brave battle, on the 20th of April 2018 we lost our beloved uncle Liaqat Ali to an untimely death. He was not only a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle but also an exemplary pillar of the community - always reaching out to help others, be it a neighbour, relative or stranger. For those of us who were fortunate enough to be blessed by his presence, his loss is incomprehensible. We know that our days will be a little less brighter and a bit more painful. In the days and weeks since his passing, there has been such an immense outpouring of love and a wonderful array of stories and memories - unspoken good deeds, happy memories spanning seven decades and countless renditions of his irreplaceable ability to touch peoples lives. In loving memory, we would sincerely appreciate your support for a worthy cause:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The best charity is giving water to drink.” (Ahmad)
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."(Muslim) Providing a water well is a form of Sadaqah Jariyah for yourself or a loved one you have lost. Imagine this being provided as a gift, on a golden tray, to a loved one while they're in their grave. For £2,500 we can provide a water well to the poorest area in Pakistan. This includes providing safe drinking water, cooking, washing clothing, feeding livestock, growing crops and hygiene to prevent the spread of diseases and help reduce deaths.
With Ramadan around the corner let us remember to dig deep and give to those who are less fortunate. Please support us in reaching our goal by donating generously, no matter how big or small.
