Story
Where I am from its never been like this, there was not many people who'd be begging out on the streets when I used to walk around the shopping centre, now there are many people who not only are seen begging but also seen sleeping rough in and around the area. It pains me to see that the cold nights and even blistering hot days the people have nowhere to go and nothing to eat. There has been times where I have seen people only want food and other times I've seen people shivering from the cold.
Just count the number of people we see sleeping rough and you'll see that its getting worse day by day. The council may not have have the money to deal with this crisis but what I do know is that we people have a massive heart.
A number of occasions I have gathered a few friends and told them about this cause and helped just feed the people. The issues does not stop with food these people also need clothes and maybe somewhere they can stay. Some times when life has kicked you down all you need is a helping hand to get back on your feet.
Families of many children face difficulty arranging a meal for the kids on a daily basis, they have to chose between eating or staying warm at times. This is not how we envisaged the world would be in the 21st Century would be like.
No child deserves to be raised under such conditions. No Parent deserves to have to put their kids through this. All they need is a helping hand and we as a community can be that for them.
A number of families have been in touch with food banks and many are embarrassed by this and we have decided to help the cause by donating to them directly.
I request you donate as little as £1 but spread the word!
