What is crowdfunding?

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

The state of Kerala in India, with its nick name "God's Own Country", is currently under a state of emergency due to a wide spread flood. This unexpected and 2 week long flood has already took close to 100 lives in total including small children.

You can read the live updates in English here: India Times News Outlet (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/kochi/kerala-floods-live-updates-situation-serious-in-many-districts/liveblog/65403405.cms)

More than hundred thousand families have lost their home, belongings and now living in temporary shelters. Many of them have lost their immediate family members and friends. Several are still trapped under mud, fallen buildings.

I am launching this fundraising to assist those in need over there. Total estimated damage as of yesterday (08/14) was Rs.8000 Crores which is around $1.1Billion US dollars. This will only rise in the coming days since the rain is still going on without a break.

There are already lots volunteers who works hard to get the food, medicine, cloths and other needy things to the relief camps, please contribute even the smallest possible amount and I/We will personally make sure that 100% of it gets to people who are suffering. We will save proof of transfer of this fund.
