ABTI offer a free service to all those effected by bullying and have some exciting plans for the future so as to support as many children as possible.

Victims of bullying often feel alone, vulnerable, scared and self-confidence becomes non-existent. Life becomes extremely miserable and the obsession of what will happen next impacts on all aspects of a child’s life. Bullying can affect a person for their entire life and in some circumstances can lead to a child committing suicide. It’s hard to accept but this happens every year. Bullying is real and all too common in every school up and down the country. From Primary schools to Secondary schools, from colleges to universities.

Bullying can take many forms; physical harassment with violence or sexually inappropriate touching, Name calling , intimidation, Online trolling & harassment, Hate speak, racism, sexism, discrimination of any type, victimising someone, spreading lies, encouraging others to engage in anti social behaviour towards an individual, threatening an individual, robbery, damage to property. Sadly the list could go on and on with almost limitless possibilities of how people can make someone’s life unbearable. Though there may be similarities in each case every situation is different as each individual is unique.

For parents, it can feel like they’re banging their head against a brick wall with schools seemingly doing nothing or very little to resolve the issues.

Approaching and discussing issues of bullying with the parents of the children involved can also be very intimidating and can often lead to further confrontation and misery.

ABTI will take control of a situation and act as an impartial, no nonsense, zero tolerance intermediary. We will liaise with individuals, schools, parents, 3rd party agencies (social services etc) the police, media and the courts to work together as one, to put a stop to the bullying. We will not leave any case unresolved or without steps in place to rectify the situation. We will not be fobbed off or accept slow or inactivity in resolving the issues. We will push for schools & where necessary the police to take significant action and will proceed with civil litigation against anyone involved if necessary. We also actively encourage schools to make contact so that we can support with any incident which they may need assistance with. We have a range of tools and processes to help children, teachers and schools with their approach to tackling bullying.

Often when a young person chooses to bully someone they have deep rooted issues which when left unaddressed, manifests as bullying with little consideration of the impact of their actions. We work very closely to support these individuals so that they no longer behave in this way. If we didn’t we would simply be stopping one person from being bullied for the perpetrator to just find a different victim. Circumstances can often be complex, sensitive, and far from straight forward. We want to unite all parties to supporting all young people effectively.

In addition to supporting individuals effected by bullying we run seminars, support groups and courses for teachers and students alike. We plan to hold fun anti bullying campaigns/seminars in every school each year. Due to the high volume of calls we receive we will soon need to outsource our telephony in order to support those trying to make contact for our support, unfortunately this isn’t cheap. Bootcamp style confidence building residentials for children who could really benefit from a boost is something we will be providing in the future.

We offer an invaluable free service and want to be able to recruit highly skilled and experienced individuals to support the young people we are working with. We need to be very selective so that the people that join the ABTI family have the right qualifications and experiences whilst having the same family values that we do. We want to be able to offer them a competitive salary, job security which will ensure that we can build long term and successful relationships with individuals and schools across the UK. We also want to develop our website so that it can be fully interactive an absolute oasis of information and a hub of supportive activity for anyone who needs it. Creating a really positive online community. Our interactive areas of our website are currently offline and our site has some mobile compatibility issues so is best viewed on a P.C or laptop.

This is where we need your help. This is a totally free service for parents/carers, victims of bullying & schools. We don’t have a product to sell in order to generate money to continue to fund the project so this is where you come in. We need you to share our mission with all your friends and family. If everyone donated just £1 (feel free to donate more than this) we will be able to create something truly special that will transform how bullying is dealt with across the UK and change the lives of many. Even if everyone donated the loose change from down the sides of your sofas we would have a real chance of changing lives forever. UNITED LIFE IS AWESOME.

If you cant donate please share and promote our just giving link with your friends, family and business colleges.

Please feel free to promote what we do so more people can benefit from this fantastic service.

I've worked with children with behavioral and learning difficulties from a varying array of backgrounds. Some of the circumstances which children find themselves in can be heartbreaking. It's so important that we do everything we can to make life easier for all children.
