Agi is a 32 year old lady who has cerebral palsy. It is a condition that affects muscle control and movement. Agi has decreased trunku, sholder, and pelvic girdle mobility. She has voluntary and involuntary movements in both upper and lower extremities. Her muscle are hypertonic. She is unable to speak and has difficulty to hold anything in her hands. Agi is unable to walk and therefore uses a powered wheelchair for mobility. There is no cure for CP, but physiotherapy and other therapies can often help to soften pain that is caused by tense muscles.
We are raising monay for specialist physiotherapy where Agi could receive treatments that relieve pain and could help her condition.
