Story

Our darling daughter Thea was born 23rd June 2017.
On the 28th July 2017 Thea became extremely ill. After attending our local A and E we were devastated to find out Thea was in Heart failure

30th July 2017, Thea was sent by ambulance down to Southampton children's hospital where we were told Thea had congenital heart disease. She was diagnosed with Tetralogy of fallot. Thea was 5 weeks old.

At 7 weeks old Thea became critically ill and had emergency open heart surgery. During this time we use many of the amazing support available to us.

As a family we were housed with myself on the wards and my husband and children at ronald mcdonald house to keep us together.

We had used over a period of 2 weeks the Southampton PICU ambulance and the Evelina children's hospital ambulance. Both charity run for transporting critically ill children.

From the support we received we want to pay back the gesture by raising as much as possible to help support other families and children that are unfortunately in our position.

With all that is raised we plan to:

Set up parent packs (basic wash kit, water and snack)
Share money out between each charity
Fund a fully equipped ambulance.

Please donate if you can and share us about, CHD affects 1 in 100 children!
