After ten months of pain, misery, war, and the devastating reality of Taliban take-over in Afghanistan, my family has finally managed to leave Afghanistan to a neighbouring country. While leaving everything behind, my family at present stays in a temporary and uninhabitable conditions. Their future is uncertain.

I am asking my friends and colleagues to generously support me with the following urgent assistance please:

1 - To support with 6 months advance rent payments for accommodation, until my family can be assisted to be registered with the UNHCR for a possible relocation in the future. This is a requirement to remain in the country, albeit temporarily. (6x £200 = £1200)

2 - Your support will also assist my family with the purchase of urgent food, clothing, and other household related items (£500 - this can last them for the next few months)

3 - Assist with the costs of urgent private medical review - my family is not insured to receive medical support (£300)

Your generous support will help me to assist my family in these hard times, while also allowing me to focus on my current PhD studies. So, I thank all of you for your kind and generous support, and for being part of this difficult journey with me.
