"As the situation worsens on the ground, it is the innocent civilians who are in dire need of our support." - Road to Freedom

The money you raise will fill two pallets full of food which will be sent into Reef Latakia via the charity Road to Freedom who have already done amazing work sending aid to help refugees on the borders of Calais, Macedonia & Paris. You can read more about them here: http://roadtofreedom.org.uk

Why I'm fundraising:

Day in day out I hear stories about war torn Syria and I've become so familiar with the situation, like many others, that sometimes it just passes by. But there was one story recently that really stuck with me and that was in September when a UN aid convoy carrying food and medicine was attacked whilst on its way to deliver aid into the city of Aleppo. As a result all further aid convoys at the time had to be temporarily suspended. So when my friend Ra'ed announced that the next Road to Freedom project would be sending aid into Reef Latakia, I thought it was a courageous decision and I want to do all I can to help make it happen!
