When I joined Scouting at the age of six I had no way of knowing how much of an impact it could make on my life. Some of the most memorable moments in my life have come from Scouting, some of my best friendships have been created through Scouting and many of the positive skills and traits that I have today were developed through Scouting. So, when I saw the opportunity to go to Madagascar to volunteer in a project which would help strengthen Malagasy scouting I was determined to go through with it. Now that I have gone through the selection process the next challenge is to fund raise as the expedition costs each person £3000. This is my first step in fundraising where I am looking for people to sponsor me to walk the West Highland Way this summer (2018). I am aiming to raise £1000 from this
