RocksKool - Inspire Create Empower (I.C.E)

RocksKool is more than just a music group. Every week young people from all over Lochaber come together in 3 different sessions to escape from the isolation and social barriers than can occur when living in a rural area.

Our tutor and volunteers are passionate about providing fantastic performance and recording experiences for our young musicians in an attempt to inspire them to keep moving forward with thier amazing talents and feel the fantastic rewards that come with it, such as improved self worth and confidence.

RocksKool also provides a safe environment for our young musicians to meet with like minded peers and break down and social or personal barriers that can occur in the outside world.... "for a couple of hours all that matters is having a jam and a laugh".

We are inclusive to all and provide tuition and experiences for young people from all walks of life and backgrounds. We pay particular attention to vulnerable young adults and offer them the chance to improve their quality of life.

We have helped many young people over many years ... some dealing with bullying, domestic issues, social barriers etc. We have also provided our musicians with a helping hand into a career in music and further education.

Every year finding funding is more and more difficult and this year is the most difficult so far. We need help to raise funds for room hire, tuition fee's, studio hire and equipment to allow us to hold fundraisers.
