Volunteering.

Hi, I am very passionate about helping others. I have spend years volunteering within addiction services from service to detox, to rehab and concerned others. I am also a qualified person centred counsellor which I do on a voluntary basics. I have helped many people with many different kind of mental health illness all from different back grounds. I am currently setting up an eating disorder peer support group.

I am at uni and I have found education is so important. This is one of the reasons why I want to be apart of this project. I want to help to give the children a chance to be the best they can be with the right tools given. I am also aware of how disease and illness are spread by poor sanitation. This is my second reason why I want to be apart of this project. It saves lives! And finally I want to learn about their cultures and by this experiencing to be able to know how to help more people.

The money you donate will go towards the cost of making the building facilities, installing equipment, bathrooms equipment and water catchments composting units. As a result of my fund raising I will get to be apart of this project and be able to go there to work voluntary with helping to build, paint and teach children sanitation/hygiene.
