Sport in South Africa is a privilege only given to those children attending what are known as Former Model C schools, meaning that a large proportion of children are not getting sufficient enough sport throughout their week!

The aim of Camp South Africa is to support the movement of sport becoming a normal part of every child’s curriculum additionally aiding children in learning English and maths.

Bringing sport to these children gives them a break from the classroom and a chance to enjoy themselves within a safe environment, it also encourages their confidence to grow and teaches them skills that opens doors for their future.

Sport has been a huge part of my life so far and it is also going to be a huge part of my future – hopefully being my career! Please help me on my journey to join Camp South Africa in summer 2018 in coaching young children in sports varying from; netball, football, hockey, rugby, swimming etc. This will be a fantastic opportunity for me to give my time doing what I am so passionate about while helping young children grow in a very deprived area of the world.
