Thank you for taking the time to read this I am Andrena's bestfriend of 18 years and this is the only justgiving page set up for her.

In September 2021 at 30 years old Andrena was diagnosed with cervical cancer. At this point the consultants were hopeful the cancer was curable and would be cured with a 6 week course of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Their hope gave us hope!

Fast forward to April 2022 Andrena received the devastating news that the treatment hadn't worked, treatment that had made her so poorly and unable to enjoy Christmas with her babies, hadn't done what it was supposed to do. The cancer was now terminal and any further treatment would only prolong life.

For anyone that doesn't know Andrena she has 5 beautiful kids and a partner James who adores her. She is the most selfless person with a heart of gold and the wedding venue she has chosen reflects this. Lindham Farm where all proceeds from venue hire goes to local disadvantaged and vulnerable children who need help.

Andrena has been dealt so much more shit than one person deserves but has always shown how strong and determined she is through it all. This is no different! The last 10 months have been heartbreaking for Andrena and us her family and friends. So I've set up this page as her bestfriend to hopefully help towards making one of her dreams come true. That dream is to get married!

Unlike other couples Andrena and James don't have the luxury of time to save and as you can imagine the last 10 months have been hard physically, emotionally and also financially.

I want to raise as much as we can to make this the wedding of their dreams because it's what they deserve. Something to look forward to, a day spent with their close friends and family, a day of making memories that we will all never forget.
