Story
Urgent £10,000 needed for vital animal hospital renovations.
This is the hospital area in the Animal Prodean Shelter in La Linea, Spain, where over 600 dogs are desperately in need of loving homes. This shelter is funded by donations only and animals are fed and looked after on the basis of these donations. Our wonderful team work around the clock doing their very best with the limited facilities they have at their disposal.
The hospital in particular is very old, and desperately needs renovations. The wood has to be replaced by more hygienic and sterile stainless steel, the floors need to be replaced to make it easier to clean and keep the area safe, and the rusty equipment urgently needs changing, some of which dates back to the second world war, no joke!
Electrical points and a properly running water supply are a must.

Hi everyone! We want to give a big heartfelt thank you to each and every one of our supporters during our campaign to raise money for the Animal Hospital in the Prodean shelter, La Linea. With your help we've managed to raise £2,151! While we didn't meet our target of £10,000, this number brings us one big step closer towards improving the lives of so many desperate and homeless animals. 8 years agoA huge thank you to all of you who have donated so far! We've gotten to our first milestone of £1000! Amazing response we are so happy and can't thank you all enough. We still have a way to go but we are getting there. The animal hospital renovations are now underway and we will continue to share photos on our Facebook page so you can all see progress.
